Family Life Groups

Our small group ministry is vital to what we do at WestGate.  We call our small groups “Family Life Groups”.  Why do we do this?  We have outlined our purpose below.

The Purpose of WestGate Family Life Groups

To practice the model of the New Testament church by:

• “Breaking bread” or sharing a meal together
• Praying together
• Meeting the needs of one another by sharing our possessions and goods if necessary.
• Having sincere and genuine relationships with one another.
• Praising God together.

The Elders and Pastors of WestGate have decided not to use Family Life Groups as a Bible study time, we address this need through our Sunday morning Bible study (Life Transformation hour) and the Bible preaching/teaching that takes place during the Celebration hour. Our small groups are designed to build authentic relationships and community in the body of Christ.
