Darwyn S. Brim:

Bro. Darwyn is a charter member of WestGate Church f/k/a River City Christian Center. He and his wife Joy were part of the original nine families who asked Pastor Wayne Young to become their pastor and plant a church. Darwyn moved from the office of Deacon to Elder in 1998. He was one of the first Elders appointed in our church. Darwyn retired from the Florida Air National Guard in 1999 after 32 years of service. He is also retired from the Federal Civil Service after 30 years. Darwyn is currently employed by Cardinal Health as a Field Service Supervisor on their Pyxis Equipment. He and his wife Joy have four grown children and three grandchildren.

Robert D. Johns:

Bro. Bobby Johns has been a member of WestGate Church f/k/a River City Christian Center since 1994. He served in the office of Deacon until his appointment to the Office of Elder in 1998. He was one of the original Elders appointed in our church. Bobby has served many churches throughout his life. He is a gifted Bible teacher and demonstrator of God’s love. Bobby was married to his wife Kay in April 1959. They have three grown and married children and eight grandchildren. Bobby recently retired as an electrician after 47 years in the profession.

Kevin W. Johns:

Bro. Kevin was appointed an elder of WestGate in December 2007 after serving as an Elder in Training for over three years. He is retired from the United States Air Force and is currently employed by a national bank as a project manager. Bro Kevin is gifted in administration and has a Master’s degree in business. He is part of our Executive Leadership Team and heads up our Connection Team. Bro. Kevin’s personal life’s purpose statement is, “to connect with people and help them see their connections with others, serve as a beacon of hope, inspire the possibilities in all of us and to discover and celebrate the beauty and passion in all of God’s creation.”
